“There are many great Christian books, but not many great Bible studies. Nancy is a master of getting the Word of God into the mouths, hearts, and lives of her students. I cannot wait to share this study with my people.”
Donna Dobbs, Christian Education Director, First Presbyterian Church, Jackson, Mississippi

“It’s not hyperbole to say, ‘It’s about time.’ While there are good books out there telling pastors how to preach Christ from all the Scriptures, there have been very few Bible studies for laypeople—especially for women—along these lines. Nancy Guthrie does an amazing job of helping us to fit the pieces of the biblical puzzle together, with Christ at the center.”
Michael S. Horton, J. Gresham Machen Professor of Systematic Theology and Apologetics, Westminster Seminary California

“The Bible is a book about Jesus. The disciples walking to Emmaus after the resurrection discovered this as Christ himself walked along with them and explained how the Old Testament pointed to the Savior. This book is the first in an important series by Nancy Guthrie and it spotlights how Jesus can be seen in the book of Genesis. I recommend this—and the entire series—to you.”
Alistair Begg, Senior Pastor, Parkside Church, Chagrin Falls, Ohio

About the Author(s): Steve Levy is the pastor of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church a thriving city centre church in Swansea, Wales.

Bible Overview

WTS: $8.39 (30% Off $11.99)

"With the care of a good pastor, Levy takes his readers by the hand and faithfully guides them from Genesis to Revelation and shows simply but brilliantly the gospel trajectory of God’s great story. This eminently readable book is perfect for laypersons desiring a greater understanding of and love for God and His Word."
Todd Pruitt, Pastor, Church of the Savior, Wayne, PA

"Steve Levy has an itch for the Bible and he’s itching to get the Bible into your blood. Sometimes you will feel like he’s dragging you – but it’s for your good. He holds that the Bible delights in Jesus – and he can’t wait for you to share that delight. Steve has a fever for the Bible and is desperate to infect you! Let him."
Dale Ralph Davis Pastor, Woodland Presbyterian Church, Hattiesburg, Mississippi

"My prayer is that the Holy Spirit will use this lively and stimulating book by Steve Levy to remove the veil from many minds. How different (and how thankful!) they will be when they see that Christ is in all the Scriptures!"
Stuart Olyott, Pastoral Director of the Evangelical Movement of Wales

"Steve’s book will not only leave you with a much clearer understanding about what the whole Bible is about, it will also ignite your passion for God’s Word."
Martin Downes, Pastor, Christ Church, Deeside, North Wales

About the Author(s): Stephen J. Nichols (PhD, Westminster Theological Seminary) is a professor in the Division of Biblical Education at Lancaster Bible College. He is the author of several books, including The Reformation: How a Monk and a Mallet Changed the World. Nichols lives with his wife and children in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Welcome to the Story: Reading, Loving, and Living God's Word

WTS: $10.71 (33% Off $15.99)

‘Nichols has written a delightful and inviting book on how to understand and live out the Bible. The storyline of the Scriptures is sketched in, and the book is full of wise advice on how to read and live out what God requires. I recommend the book with enthusiasm.”
Thomas R. Schreiner, James Buchanan Harrison Professor of New Testament Interpretation, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary

Welcome to the Story reads, well, like a story—full of many interesting and important characters. The reader will find intrigue and mystery, striking beauty and hideous ugliness, noble and courageous heroes along with wicked and contemptible villains, all depicting the richness and sweeping breadth of this story... In the end, Nichols shows how this story is the Story of all stories, since its central character is none other than the King who is over all kings, the Creator and Author of the story in which He plays the leading part. I encourage you to read this story, enter the story, and join in making this Story—the Story above all stories—your story.’
Bruce A. Ware, Professor of Christian Theology, Senior Associate Dean, School of Theology, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary

About the Author(s): D. G. Hart is the author or editor of more than twenty books on American religion, including A Secular Faith: Why Christianity Favors the Separation of Church and State and Deconstructing Evangelicalism: Conservative Protestantism in the Age of Billy Graham. A former director of the Institute for the Study of American Evangelicalism at Wheaton College, he is currently visiting professor of history at Hillsdale College.

From Billy Graham to Sarah Palin: Evangelicals and the Betrayal of American Conservatism (Hardcover)

WTS: $16.25 (35% Off $25.00)

“Hart once again shows himself to be a foremost authority of American Protestant history. And unlike many historians, Hart offers a journalistic style that combines deep insight with wit and clarity. As always, Hart wears his convictions on his sleeve, of which the critical reader must be aware—this is ideological history—history with a purpose (what type of history isn’t?). Nonetheless, this is a very informed and profitable read, even if one is bound to disagree.”
Mike Halpin, WTSBooks staff

Eerdmans Publishing's Description:

From Billy Graham to Sarah Palin provides an iconoclastic history of the entrance of evangelical Christians into national American politics. Examining key evangelical political figures—from Billy Graham, Jerry Falwell, Chuck Colson, James Dobson, and Pat Robertson to Tony Campolo and Jim Wallis—D. G. Hart argues that American evangelicalism has always been a bad fit with classic political conservatism and its insistence on the limited role of government.”
