This short book holds five sermons preached by Dr. Lloyd-Jones as part of his exposition of Ephesians. The passage covered, Ephesians 6:1-4, deals with the relationships within the family. We particularly appreciated the chapter on “Discipline and the Modern Mind.” Dr. Lloyd-Jones places the biblical teaching in the context of Western culture’s past errors in the concept of disciplining children, and the subsequent backlash into opposite errors.
