"Her practical, Christ-centered Bible study guides will help you dig deeper into the Scriptures and go deeper in the knowledge of God." - Philip Graham Ryken
This study leads in a close examination of these two epistles of Paul to the Thessalonian church he planted and loved. Each lesson's five days of questions (along with helpful comments and context) guide in a process of careful study and application of the biblical text. The shape and themes of each epistle emerge, as well as Paul's overriding focus on the second coming of Jesus as a constant lens through which to live and learn and even suffer. Paul's loving encouragement and careful teaching about holy living and working in preparation for Jesus' coming can speak powerfully to Christians today.

Prayer flows from every lesson, changing our lives as we make application." -Kathy Ladd, Director of Women's Bible study, Village 7 Presbyterian Church, Colorado
"Pastors and Christian educators are always on the lookout for rich, well-researched, reliable, helpful, clear teaching material that will get our people into the Word together, helping us to understand its meaning, to see its implications for us in all of life, and to pray it back to God. These studies supply us with precisely that." - Ligon Duncan, senior minister, First Presbyterian Church, Jackson, MS
"What a wonderful gift to today's church! It is rare to find a Bible study that is both approachable to those who are new to studying God's Word and challenging to those more 'seasoned' in Scripture. Kathleen Nielson's study of 1 & 2 Thessalonians encourages students on all levels to look deeply into the truths of the gospel while anticipating Christ's return." - Cindy Cochrum, director of women's Bible studies, College Church, Wheaton, IL
