Staff Review: A children's Bible usually refers to a book containing Bible stories rewritten for children. Not in this instance. This Childrens Bible includes the entire ESV text together with illustrations and study helps designed for children. The study helps, which appear at the end of the Bible, are exceptional introductions to biblical truth and basic Christian practices such as Bible reading and prayer. The theological perspective is consistently evangelical and Reformed. Parents should note that the illustrations do include renderings of Jesus.
