About the Author: Michael R. Emlet, M.Div., M.D. practiced as a family physician for twelve years before retiring to become a counselor and faculty member at CCEF and lecturer in Practical Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary. Mike holds an M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania as well as a Master of Divinity degree from Westminster Theological Seminary.
Dr. Emlet is the author of two booklets, Asperger Syndrome and OCD: Freedom for the Obsessive Compulsive. He is currently working on his first book. He and his wife, Jody, have a daughter and a son. Mike is active in his urban church and, when he has time, creates beautiful pieces on a potter's wheel! Areas of interest/experience: psychiatric issues (particularly OCD).
