"Ancient Word, Changing Worlds" has come at the right time. As the doctrine of Scripture is once again center stage within evangelicalism Nichols and Brandt offer a most helpful and readable volume. The authors structure their book around three key words realted to the doctrine of Scripture: inspiration, inerrancy, and interpretation. It is one of best reviews I have read of the historical affirmation of Scripture's infallibility and inerrancy. |

An easy-to-read but very complete defense of the inerrancy of Scripture. The authors provide companion chapters to their own writing quoting primary sources - both for and against inerrancy - to give an historical overview to the topic. Highly recommended for pastors needing to brush up on the issue and interested laypersons. |
