Publisher's Description: This is a companion volume to God’s Mighty Acts in Salvation.
Nature reveals majestic truths about God—truths that help us know him better. God’s Mighty Acts in Creation helps children recognize those wonders, and what they tell us about their Creator.
As Starr Meade, author of Mighty Acts of God, guides young readers through the six days of creation, she points to how creation displays the wisdom and power of God. She also helps readers explore and apply other references to nature in the Bible by answering questions such as: What did Jesus mean when he claimed to be the true vine? How is all flesh like grass, and how should that affect the way we live? What was God revealing about himself when he made the sun stand still for Joshua? Each reading includes a key verse, stimulating questions, and engaging activities, all geared toward elementary-aged children.
Whether parents use this book for family devotions or children read it for themselves, all will learn how God’s glory, wisdom, sovereignty, and power are revealed in all of creation.

"If you and your family have been blessed by Starr Meade's teaching through the whole Bible in The Mighty Acts of God, and you wish there was a way to continue deeper into the Scripture, here is great news! In God's Mighty Act in Creation Meade explores Biblical themes relating to God's creation - not just in the Genesis account, but throughout the Bible. The result is truly unique and engaging. As in The Mighty Acts of God, the "As For Me and My House..." section in each lesson is a very helpful aid to family discussion. Your family will come to know God better - as Creator and as Savior."

"Starr Meade again brings essential doctrines of the Reformed faith to a level children can understand.
In a format comparable to The Mighty Acts of God, Mrs. Meade delves more deeply into God’s Word with these devotionals for children and families. The daily readings begin with a passage of Scripture (ESV) and are followed by one to one-and-a-half pages of teaching. The concluding “As for me and my house…” includes questions for discussion, simple activities to try, etc. Children ages 8 to 11 could read the lessons independently (parental supervision would increase understanding for occasional extra-difficult words or concepts); parents can read the lessons aloud for children as young as 6. There are no illustrations in these books. They are most suitable for read-aloud family devotions or independent devotional use by older children.
God’s Mighty Acts in Creationtraces God’s work in each of the six days of creation, and draws out what the Bible says about each created thing, using various passages of Scripture quoted from the ESV. For example, as she works through “light,” readers see that God is light, Jesus is the Light of the World, the Holy Spirit illuminates our hearts, and God owns the light in successive days of devotions. This book has 45 lessons.
