Publisher Description: Some two thousand years after he walked the earth, Jesus Christ is still a controversial figure. While misdirected speculation and lies about Jesus have permeated popular culture and even the academy over the years, the truth about his character, nature, and work has not changed. So what exactly is the truth about Jesus Christ?

That's the question the authors of Vintage Jesus answer by looking at a number of sub-questions about Jesus, including "Is Jesus the only God?" "Why did Jesus come to earth?" "Did Jesus rise from death?" “Why should we worship Jesus?” and others. Through Scripture, illustrations, and carefully formed arguments, Driscoll and Breshears present the Jesus Christ of the Bible as the sinless Son of God, at once fully human and fully divine, and our substitutionary atonement.

Nonbelievers and new Christians will find solid, biblical answers to their most honest, difficult questions about Jesus, presented in a relevant and accessible way.

Note from wtsbooks: Style of presentation and use of language in this book do not necessarily represent that which would be condoned or encouraged by the staff or management of Westminster Bookstore. We offer this book for sale as an example of a young pastor committed to presenting the Reformed faith in "edgy" ways that he believes communicate effectively to an unchurched generation. Readers should be aware that Rev. Driscoll's style and choice of words may be disturbing to some.
