Publisher’s Description

Gospel Identity focuses on the transformation of Christians by the power of the gospel. This ten–session small group study guides participants (and leaders) to discover their need for Jesus, examine the blessings of their new identity in Christ, and explain how those gifts move us outward so others can also experience new life in Jesus. With user–friendly small group activities and questions rooted in Scripture, this small group study (adapted from sections of Gospel Transformation) includes a leader’s guide and is suitable for small groups and individual mentoring. Other books in the series are Gospel Growth (Book 2) and Gospel Love (Book 3). These can be used as stand-alone products.

Based on portions of discipleship material developed at World Harvest Mission by Paul E. Miller which was used as the basis for Gospel Transformation (copyright 2001 by World Harvest Mission) written by Neil H. Williams.

Neil H. Williams (M.Div., Westminster Theological Seminary; D.Th., University of South Africa) is a writer and theologian residing just outside Philadelphia, PA. He has previously pastored in New York City and lectured in South Africa.

Paul Miller is director of seeJesus.net, a discipling mission that develops interactive Bible studies. The PrayerLife Study and Seminar, which form the basis for the book A Praying Life, is the second curriculum released by seeJesus.net. The first curriculum, called The Person of Jesus Study, centers on what Jesus is like as a person and is equally effective with both Christians and non–Christians. Paul’s book Love Walked Among Us is based on The Person of Jesus Study and, similarly, is written for both Christians and non–Christians. Paul also teaches seminars that train people to lead the study with friends and neighbors.
