
is the Executive Director of CCEF. He was the co-founder of CCEF’s New England office, and served as the director of the School of Biblical Counseling from 2017-2019. Alasdair also has experience in campus ministry as well as having served on staff at two churches. He, his wife, Lauren, and their three children live in New England. Alasdair is a fiction enthusiast, plays ultimate frisbee, and loves to produce and enjoy both good food and good music.


is an author and recording artist who has released numerous acclaimed Christian hip-hop albums, including The Atonement, The Attributes of God and Jesus Kids. After completing a pastoral internship at Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington D.C., Shai co-founded Risen Christ Fellowship, an inner-city church in his hometown of Philadelphia, PA. Shai has been featured in or written articles for numerous Christian outlets, including Christianity Today, World Magazine, 9 Marks and The Gospel Coalition. Shai is the author of The New Reformation: Finding Hope in the Fight for Ethnic Unity, which was published in May 2021. Previously, he wrote God Made Me and You and co-authored It Was Good: Making Music to the Glory of God. Shai lives in Philadelphia with his wife Blair and their three children.


is a counselor and faculty member at CCEF. He has a PhD from the University of Utah and an MDiv from Biblical Theological Seminary. Ed has been counseling for over thirty-five years and has written many books and articles on biblical counseling. He and his wife, Sheri, have two married daughters and eight grandchildren.


is Dean of Faculty at CCEF. He holds an MD from the University of Pennsylvania and an MDiv degree from Westminster Theological Seminary. He worked as a family physician for twelve years before joining the Christian Counseling & Educational Foundation (CCEF). Mike has counseled for many years and is the author of a number of books. Mike is married to Jody, and they have two children.


is the Founder and Executive Director of Fieldstone Counseling. He also serves as the Pastor of Counseling for Parkside Church. Jonathan graduated from The Master’s University with degrees in Biblical Counseling and History and his M.A. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He is the author of The Company We Keep and Counsel for Couples and the forthcoming Rescue Plan (P&R Publishing, 2021). Jonathan has written for a number of sites and organizations including, The Gospel Coalition, Biblical Counseling Coalition, Christianity Today, and the Journal for Biblical Counseling. Jonathan serves on the Council Board for the Biblical Counseling Coalition; he speaks frequently at retreats and conferences. He and his wife, Jennifer, have four daughters, Ava, Riley, Ruby, and Emma.
