is a faculty member at CCEF. She holds an MA in counseling from Biblical Theological Seminary. She is a licensed professional counselor with over fifteen years of counseling experience. She has extensive experience with women’s issues, sexual abuse, body image issues, parenting, and child maltreatment issues, and regularly speaks at events on these topics. Julie is also a registered play therapist and has developed a play therapy office at CCEF to better serve families, teens and children. She is a trained facilitator for Stewards of Children, a non-profit organization that provides training on child sexual abuse. Julie has trained a therapy dog that she works with both professionally and on a volunteer basis. Julie and her husband, Greg, have six children and serve as foster and adoptive parents.

is a faculty member at CCEF and the counseling coordinator. He holds a PsyD from Immaculata University and an MDiv from Westminster Theological Seminary. His dissertation work explored the relationship between a reformed Christian narrative and the experience of schizophrenia. He has experience as a hospital chaplain, crisis worker, and university counselor. Todd is married with three children. He considers himself a coffee connoisseur and fills his off days with reading Winnie the Pooh and making Lego creations.

is currently serving as a pastor at Speke Baptist Church, Liverpool, which is seeking to reach out to the large council estate where they live. Ste has been studying counseling with CCEF since 2008, and has served as a pastoral intern with CCEF in Philadelphia, PA. He leads and tutors the BCUK certificate course in Liverpool.

is a counselor, author, speaker, and trainer committed to providing care and resources for the whole person. Trained both biblically and clinically, she understands the complexities people face in their spiritual, emotional, and physical lives.

She holds a Master of Arts in Counseling and has advanced certificates in biblical counseling from The Christian Counseling Educational Foundation (CCEF) and The Association of Biblical Counselors (ABC). She is also a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) and has specialized training in trauma care, including EMDR (modified to include gospel applications). She is a contributing writer for the Biblical Counseling Coalition, The Journal of Biblical Counseling, and is the author of The Whole Life: 52 Weeks of Biblical Self-Care, Raising Teens in a Hyper-Sexualized World and Raising Kids in a Screen-Saturated World.

Eliza is the director of counseling at McLean Bible Church located in the Washington D.C. metro area. She is the Dean of Biblical Counseling for Metro Baltimore Seminary in Maryland.Helping people experience God’s redeeming grace through the hope of the gospel is her motivation for counseling.

is a faculty member at CCEF and the director of counseling at CCEF Montana. He holds an MS in marital and family therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary. Aaron is a licensed clinical professional counselor and has counseled in community mental health, psychiatric hospital, and outpatient settings. He has a passion for building strong relationships with local churches and loves to come along side pastoral ministers through consultation, training, and counseling services. He lives in Big Sky Country and enjoys all of its outdoor activities with his wife, Kellie, and their three energetic sons.

has a Master of Divinity degree in Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bio-psychology from the University of Chicago. She has been doing formal counseling for over a decade. In addition to serving as a missionary to Northern Ireland for two years, she has also supported the ministry of the church as a speaker at women's retreats, bible study teacher, and support group leader. While focused on marriage and family counseling, Darby has a special interest in working with abused and developmentally delayed children. She and her husband, John, have three young children. Her hobbies include photography, swimming, reading, and word games.

serves as the Pastor of Care at Sojourn Church Midtown, Louisville, KY for the past 14 years. He has a passion for helping the church to be confident in Jesus. He is the Executive Director of Gospel Care Ministries which trains church, network, and mission leaders for discipleship and care in community. He also serves as the Strategist for Care in Sojourn Network. He is the author of God Redeeming His Bride: A Handbook for Church Discipline; “Why We ‘Care’ Instead of ‘Counsel’ One Another” in JBC 30:2 (2016); Restore: Changing Our Patterns of Loving and Living (to be released September 2020). He enjoys life with Karen, his wife of 37 years, along with their adult children and adorable grandchildren.

serves as the Pastor of Counseling at The Summit Church in  Durham, NC. He also serves as Assistant Professor of Biblical Counseling at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, a council member of the Biblical Counseling Coalition, has authored several books including God’s Attributes: Rest for Life’s Struggles, and served as general editor for the Becoming a Church that Cares Well for the Abused (churchcares.com) project.

serves as the Women’s Ministry Coordinator at Harvest USA, a national ministry focused on gospel-centered discipleship and teaching regarding sexuality and gender. Ellen writes and speaks frequently on these topics. She has authored Sexual Sanity for Women: Healing from Sexual & Relational Brokenness, Sexual Faithfulness: Gospel-Infused, Practical Discipleship for Women (co-authored with Shalee Lehning), Sex and the Single Girl: Smart Ways to Care for Your Heart, Your Dating Relationship and Your Sexual Past: How Much to Share, and most recently, a 31-day devotional, Toxic Relationships: Taking Refuge in Christ. Ellen received her MA in Biblical Studies from Covenant Theological Seminary and completed the three certificates in biblical counseling from CCEF. Ellen takes great joy in ministering to women, and she is most passionate about mentoring, teaching God’s Word, and spurring others on to know Jesus and walk with him.

is a faculty member at CCEF and the director of counseling. She holds an MDiv from Westminster Theological Seminary and has earned the advanced counseling certificate through CCEF. She has worked in various Christian ministries for many years, including women’s ministries at her church. She enjoys her large family, reading, music, and flowers—live and in watercolor.

Deepak Reju serves as the pastor of biblical counseling and family ministry at Capitol Hill Baptist Church (CHBC) in Washington, DC. He did his theological training at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv, PhD). Deepak and his wife, Sarah, have been married since 2001 and have five adorable children (Zachariah, Lydia, Eden, Noelle and Abraham).

Deepak is the author of several books, including On Guard: Preventing and Responding to Child Abuse at Church, The Pastor and Counseling: The Basics of Shepherding Members In Need, She’s Got the Wrong Guy: Why Smart Women Settle, and Pornography: Fighting for Purity.

holds a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary. She has been counseling at CCEF for almost a decade and works mainly with couples and adult women. Her devotional book, A Painful Past: Healing and Moving Forward was released in Sept 2020. Lauren is a frequent contributor to the Journal of Biblical Counseling (JBC) and also serves as an assistant editor for the JBC, which publishes three issues annually. Lauren is married and has two children. She enjoys reading and writing, book clubs, cooking, and big cities.

has a Master of Divinity degree in Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Missouri. She has counseled at CCEF for close to a decade and has a passion for supporting and equipping ministry leaders and their families. She serves as an instructor and the manager of online instruction for CCEF’s School of Biblical Counseling. She and her husband, Joel, have two young children, Elijah and Eveleigh, and her hobbies include photography, gardening, singing, playing games with friends and listening to movie scores.

(MAR, MAC) is Executive Director of Blue Ridge Christian Counseling, Inc. in Roanoke, VA. Previously he served as the director of congregational care at his church and as a licensed professional counselor at CCEF. Michael teaches at the Blue Ridge Institute for Theological Education (BRITE) and online at Westminster Seminary, where he graduated with Masters degrees in Counseling and Biblical Studies. He is the author of After an Affair: Pursuing Restoration and several articles. He and his wife Kelly live in Roanoke, VA with their two sons.

graduated from Westminster Theological Seminary with a M.A.R. in Biblical Studies and a M.A. in Counseling. She holds a B.A. degree in Political Science and Chinese, with a minor in Psychology. Esther has been involved with campus ministry and youth group ministry in the past, and has also completed counseling internships with Philadelphia Renewal Network (PRN) and CCEF. In addition to serving as a counselor, Esther also works as the executive assistant, faculty administrator, and online content developer at CCEF.

is a licensed clinical psychologist in Ontario, Canada. He holds an M.Div. from Westminster Theological Seminary, and a Psy.D. (clinical psychology) from Widener University. After counseling at CCEF for 6 years, Eamon now works in several rural communities in Northern Ontario where he both counsels and evaluates children and adolescents for learning disabilities and developmental delays. Other contexts he has counseled include a psychiatric hospital, university campus counseling center, and assessment of diaconal candidates. Eamon has taught biblical counseling courses at Heritage Seminary in Ontario, and Fondation due Counseling Biblique in Quebec. Eamon is married with three children.
