Endorsements (${ productEndorsements.length })
“The Incarnation in the Gospels is an unusual book: a commentary, but on a theme rather than a particular Bible book. It deals with the incarnation, Christmas, in Matthew (‘The Hope of Israel’), Luke (‘Songs for the Savior’) and John (‘The Coming of the Light’). The authors are Reformed in their theology, reliable in their understanding of the passages, and all of them fascinating writers. This book will be a great help to pastors preparing series of Christmas sermons and to lay believers trying to distinguish the real biblical teaching from all the Christmas fluff.”
John Frame (B.D.
Westminster Theological Seminary; M.A., M.Phil., Yale University; D.D., Belhaven College), professor of systematic theology and philosophy at Reformed Theological Seminary, Orlando
“The Incarnation in the Gospels brings together in one delightful volume the teaching of the Gospels on the incarnation of Christ. All who read this book should experience a deeper devotion to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
Jerry Bridges
author of The Pursuit of Holiness, staff member, The Navigators Collegiate Ministry
