Infallible Word: A Symposium
Publisher's Description
“We hope that this symposium,” wrote editors N. B. Stonehouse and Paul Woolley in 1946, “may serve to clarify the position of orthodox Christianity with respect to the Bible. The issues of the day require us to take stock of this doctrine in a far more comprehensive way than is done in some of the brief formulations of faith which have gained favor in certain circles.”
Contributing to this classic work on biblical authority, in addition to the editors, are John Murray, Edward J. Young, John H. Skilton, R. B. Kuiper, and Cornelius Van Til. The first edition was published in 1946, the second in 1967.
Includes a Foreword by D. M. Lloyd-Jones
About the Editors
N. B. Stonehouse (1902–62) and Paul Woolley (d. 1984) were members of the original faculty of Westminster Theological Seminary. Stonehouse served until his death; Woolley, until his retirement in 1972.

“This book [has] rendered great service in helping and strengthening the faith of true evangelical people...[I] urge all who are anxious to stand steadfastly against the alarming drift even among evangelicals to read it and study it with diligence. It will inform their minds, warm their hearts, and strengthen their resolution.”
D. Martyn LloydJones (From the foreword to the second edition)
