Our Secure Salvation: Preservation and Apostasy (Explorations in Biblical Theology)
"Our Secure Salvation offers a well-informed and warm pastoral exposition of the biblical teaching regarding preservation, perseverance, assurance, and apostasy. Readers will find strength and encouragement from both the biblical and theological themes so capably explained by Robert Peterson. I am confident that the careful and irenic presentation found in this volume will be helpful for Calvinists and non-Calvinists alike. It is a joy to recommend this book."See All

This is a fresh restatement of the case for the preservation of the saints, especially valuable in light of the insecurity of much of postmodern life. The book captures the dynamic interplay in the Old Testament between the themes of preservation and apostasy, and teaches readers how to understand the New Testament teaching of Jesus and his apostles. Understanding that it is God, in his grace, power, and faithfulness who saves and keeps his people for final salvation brings them stability, gratitude, and confidence to live for his glory.
