Recommended by Timothy Witmer of Westminster Theological Seminary. See all of Dr. Witmer's recommendations.
Greenway has ably edited a fine collection of articles on the significance of evangelism from a Reformed context. Though originally published in 1987, it still provides insight into the task of extending Christ’s kingdom through the proclamation and demonstration of the gospel before a watching world. Helpful chapters include Harry Reeder’s discussion of the revitalization of existing churches, Terry Gyger’s concern with bringing the Reformed faith into dialogue with church growth principles, and Edmund Clowney’s essay on kingdom evangelism. This volume will be of benefit to seminary students, pastors, and all those interested in the health of Christ’s church. - Jeff Waddington - Westminster Bookstore Staff
