Before that, he was the founding pastor of Providence Reformed Presbyterian Church, also in Pittsburgh, and served there in the pastorate from 1998 to 2005. He received a B.A. from Covenant College, M.Div. from Reformed Presbyterian Seminary, M.A. from Siegal College of Jewish Studies and a Ph.D. from Towson University. C.J. and his wife, Sherri, have been blessed with five children: Noah, Grace, Judah, Gabriel and Charity.
