Returns

Our goal is that you will be completely satisfied with your Westminster Bookstore purchase. If at any time you receive product from us that is damaged or defective, please contact us as soon as possible so we can make our mistake right.

If you decide that you simply do not want an item that you purchased, you may return it within 30 days of purchase if it is in “good as new,” resellable condition. Please contact us first to receive a return authorization number. Your return authorization email will contain complete instructions for how to make your return.

We regret that we cannot issue refunds for software, music, or other media if the original seal has been opened. Clearance and Imperfect Items are not returnable.

For orders of $500 or more you may return up to 50% of your order value.

Cost of shipping (both from us to you and your return shipping to us) is not refundable.

All premium binding Bibles are subject to a 20% restocking fee. We know that you and all of our customers expect these premium Bibles to be new and unopened when received. Therefore it is necessary for us to discount opened premium-bound Bibles, necessitating this restocking charge.

For defective Crossway ESV Bibles: Please contact Crossway directly at 1–800–543–1659 for replacement.

Tax Exemption

We are required to collect sales tax for non-exempt purchases shipping within PA, as well as those shipping to Canada.

If you are having your order shipped within Pennsylvania, and purchasing for a church or ministry exempt from sales tax in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, we need to have a copy of your tax exemption certificate on file.

You may fax a copy to 215-957-6424 or email an electronic copy to support@wtsbooks.com. Once we have your certificate on file your account will be setup to allow future tax exempt orders online.

We are required to charge sales tax on case quantities of Bibles for shipments to CA, GA, KY, WA, LA, NJ, MI, RI, MA, NC, TN, IL, OH, or PA. Please indicate your tax exempt status in the comment section during the checkout process and send us a copy of your tax exempt document. Once we receive the paperwork, we will process your order.

Payment Options

Payment for all orders must be made before the order can ship. Westminster Bookstore accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. If you wish to pay by check, please call us first. We will lock in the current price of the books you want to order and give you instructions on how to mail your check. All checks must be in US funds.

We also accept Westminster Bookstore gift certificates and gift cards.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the "leader recommended" badge mean?

One of our aims as a ministry is to help leaders in the church guide the readers of the church.
The “leader recommended” badge identifies books written or endorsed by our best selling authors, faculty at Westminster Theological Seminary, or the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation. These authors and faculty are leaders in the church whom we trust, and who have a proven track record of writing and recommending resources that are helpful to the Church.

How do we choose the books we carry?

While we primarily seek to promote the best available Reformed titles, we also stock many titles and resources with which we, as Reformed Christians, would take serious and sharp disagreement. We make such books available not to endorse their content, but so that the church and its leaders may inform themselves of important issues in the life of the church, the academy, and the world. Some titles may seem acceptable to some Reformed Christians but not to others. Also, since Westminster Bookstore serves as the campus store for Westminster Theological Seminary, we sometimes will carry a book only because it was assigned as a textbook for a class.
Wherever possible, we have tried to note in the product description when a particular book is being carried because of one of the above reasons.
