Christopher Ash

Christopher Ash is writer-in-residence at Tyndale House, Cambridge. After teaching maths for twelve years, he studied theology at Oxford, served as an assistant minister at St Andrew the Great in Cambridge, and led a church plant in Little Shelford. From 2004 to 2015 he directed the Proclamation Trust's Cornhill Training Course in London. He and his wife, Carolyn, are members of Cambridge Presbyterian Church.

Most readers start with Ash’s work on the Psalms. The Psalms: A Christ-Centered Commentary is the complete 4-volume set, and each volume is also sold on its own: Volume 1 (introduction), Psalms 1–50, Psalms 51–100 and Psalms 101–150.

Pastors should read Zeal Without Burnout, a short, honest book on sustainable ministry, and couples Married for God. Also try Job: The Wisdom of the Cross, A Forgotten Prophet and Not Old, Not Young, Not Done. Browse more Psalms resources and pastoral resources.
