Training Young Hearts (4-Book Bundle)
The Training Young Hearts series consists of board books for toddlers as well as rhyming storybooks for children over 3. All the books in the series train young hearts through the gospel, both by showing Jesus as an example and by explaining how his grace enables us to change.
Parents, teachers and other loved ones can refer back to these resources when specific behaviors need to be both corrected and connected to forgiveness, grace and growth.
Why Abbey Wedgeworth Uses Training Refrains with Her Kids

There are many people in our constituency who, in a sincere effort to honor the second commandment, refrain from the use of any kind of drawings or pictures of Jesus, even if not intended for a worship context. Out of respect for those who take this position, we have sought to add a note to books in our children’s category which have drawings or depictions of Jesus so that they can factor that into their buying decisions, as they would if they could inspect the books physically.
Abbey Wedgeworth is a wife, mother, and writer. The author of Held and the Training Young Hearts series, she is passionate about discipleship and Bible literacy, and loves to see the way that the gospel transforms how people think and live. Abbey lives on the South Carolina coast with her husband, David, and their three children.
Emma Randall is a freelance illustrator specializing in children’s illustration, including the hugely popular Diary of a Disciple. She lives with her family near Bristol, UK.
