The Handbooks on the New Testament Set contains three volumes that span the entirety of the New Testament:
  • Handbook on the Gospels by Benjamin L. Gladd
  • Handbook on Acts and Paul's Letters by Thomas R. Schreiner
  • Handbook on Hebrews through Revelation by Andreas J. Köstenberger

Written with classroom utility and pastoral application in mind, these accessible volumes summarize the content of each major section of the biblical text to help students, pastors, and laypeople quickly grasp the sense of particular passages. Series volumes are neither introductions nor commentaries, as they focus primarily on the content of the biblical books without getting bogged down in historical-critical questions or detailed verse-by-verse exegesis.

Benjamin L. Gladd (PhD, Wheaton College) is associate professor of New Testament at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi. He is the author or coauthor of several books, including From Adam and Israel to the Church, The Story Retold: A Biblical-Theological Introduction to the New Testament (with G. K. Beale) and Making All Things New (with Matthew S. Harmon).

Andreas J. Köstenberger (PhD, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School) is research professor of New Testament and biblical theology and director of the Center for Biblical Studies at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri. He previously taught at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is a leading evangelical scholar, the founder of Biblical Foundations, and the editor of the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society.

Thomas R. Schreiner (PhD, Fuller Theological Seminary) is James Buchanan Harrison Professor of New Testament Interpretation and professor of biblical theology at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He has taught at SBTS for more than twenty years. Schreiner is the author or editor of numerous books, including Romans in the BECNT series, The King in His Beauty, New Testament Theology, Magnifying God in Christ, Interpreting the Pauline Epistles, and Paul, Apostle of God's Glory in Christ.
