About the Author

Christopher A. Beetham (PhD, Wheaton College) is senior editor of biblical languages, textbooks, and reference tools at Zondervan. He is the author of Echoes of Scripture in the Letter of Paul to the Colossians and Colossians and Philemon and abridging editor of The Concise New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology and Exegesis. Nancy L. Erickson (PhD, Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion) is executive editor of biblical languages, textbooks, reference tools, and Seedbed resources at Zondervan. She is coeditor and contributor to Windows to the Ancient World of the Hebrew Bible and coauthor of Basics of Akkadian: A Grammar, Workbook, and Glossary. Karen H. Jobes (PhD, Westminister Theological Seminary) is the Gerald F. Hawthorne Professor Emerita of New Testament Greek and Exegesis at Wheaton College and Graduate school in Wheaton, Illinois. The author of several works, she has also been involved in the NIV Bible translation. She and her husband, Forrest, live in Philadelphia and are members of an Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Tremper Longman III (PhD, Yale University) is a distinguished scholar and Professor Emeritus of Biblical Studies at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California. He is on the advisory council of the BioLogos Foundation, and is the Old Testament editor for the revised Expositor's Bible Commentary and general editor for the Story of God Bible Commentary Old Testament, and has authored many articles and books on the Psalms and other Old Testament books. Scot McKnight (PhD, Nottingham) has been a Professor of New Testament for more than four decades.
