Episode 2: David Murray (July 2, 2020)

For our second episode, we are delighted to welcome David Murray as our guest. David is a pastor who has published over a dozen books, including Meeting with Jesus: A Daily Bible Reading Plan for Kids. He is also a Professor of Old Testament and Practical Theology at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary. We are looking forward to hearing how raising five children with his wife Shona has influenced and inspired his writing.

Mark Vroegop

is the lead pastor of College Park Church in Indianapolis and the author of Dark Clouds, Deep Mercy: Discovering the Grace of Lament, the ECPA 2020 Christian Book of the Year, and Weep with Me: How Lament Opens a Door for Racial Reconciliation. He’s married to Sarah, and they have four children and a daughter-in-law.

Dane Ortlund

(PhD, Wheaton College) is chief publishing officer and Bible publisher at Crossway. He serves as an editor for the Knowing the Bible series and the Short Studies in Biblical Theology series, and is the author of several books, including Gentle and Lowly and Edwards on the Christian Life. He is an elder at Naperville Presbyterian Church in Naperville, Illinois. Dane lives with his wife, Stacey, and their five children in Wheaton, Illinois.
