Gospel Realities: Lessons from Galatians (Workbook with Video Streaming Access)
Yuille, Stephen
What happens if we add a drop of poison to a healthy beverage? It’s ruined.
Likewise, if we attempt to add anything to Christ alone for salvation, we undermine the message of the gospel.
The new church at Galatia is under attack by those who insist that, in addition to the work of Jesus, the Galatian believers must obey a set of rules in order to be acceptable to God. When Paul hears this news, he pens a letter rebuking these false teachers and defending the message of the gospel.
Thousands of years later, the modern Church faces the same problem. When we lose sight of Christ as the sole ground and faith as the sole means of our justification, we fall into the same error as the Galatians. How do we defend our churches and our own souls against the message of “Jesus plus…”?
In these eight workbook chapters and accompanying video lessons, Dr. Stephen Yuille guides us through the book of Galatians to help us grasp the sole sufficiency of Christ, applied by the Holy Spirit, to justify us before God and give us all we need to live lives of obedience.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Gospel Realities: Lessons from Galatians is centered around 8 video sermons and a corresponding 8-week workbook-style study. Each week, the student will watch a video sermon and spend the week working through a corresponding workbook lesson.
Each workbook week is comprised of one lesson which is designed to be slowly worked through, meditated on, and applied throughout the week.
